Only couple of days after its release, the Radeon HD 4770, the first desktop graphic card engraved at 40 nm, is a big success. Its main advantage is its low price, expected to be lower than 100 € when it will be available in Europe. Its success is also its ability to be massively overclocked with ease. Originally clocked at 750 MHz, its GPU can be pushed without problem till 900 MHz, and even more if you modify its voltage. With such frequencies, its early success will most likely last for some times as it offers high performance level for a low budget. With a bit of chance and some tricks one could quickly be able to install it in our Mac Pro without flashing it as we indicate it in a previous news.
