Toshiba has officially announced it acquired Fujitsu Storage Division. from July 1st, all HD-related Fujitsu activities will be transfered to Toshiba. The company will then become a key player on the 1.8" and 2.5" HD market, and its new achievement in producing smaller NAND chips might give all components require to enter massively into the growing SSD market, giving the company the ability to play on both side on the computer storage market.
