The company Cinemaview announced the future availability (September 2009) of 16:9 LCD display featuring a Mini DisplayPort, currently found only on Apple hardware.
Regarding the design, they did not really release a groundbreaking model, it is quite similar to the recently launched Apple 24" LED Cinema Display. Three different models will be available:
19" with 1440x900 for 299 USD
21" with 1680x1050 for 399 USD
24" with 1920x1080 for 499 USD
If they did not feature a MagSafe connector and use a simple mini jack for the sound, the much lower price should seduce many MacBook owners not ready to purchase the expensive 24" LED Apple Cinema display.
