Since Apple released Safari 4 beta to bleeding-edge users, many have reported not being able to properly access functions of Hotmail, Microsoft's flagship online e-mail service. Reported issues include not being able to log in to accounts, not being able to access messages, and not being able to manipulate messages (deleting, moving, and so on). Most signs point to a programming conflict between Apple's strict adherence to the most current WebKit standards and Hotmail's lack of including Safari 4 beta as a "legitimate" browser.
