Although unused, the beta iPhone 3.0 firmware contains underlying references to video editing, an Austrian site notes. Graphics files appear to be tied to various editing controls, including scrubbing and picking the beginnings and endings of clips. When assembled the images could be associated with a dedicated editing bar, to be introduced in future iterations of iPhone 3.0.
