Dell Is Preparing the Launch of a Xeon Nehalem-based PC Model
According to Engadget, Dell is currently preparing the update of its PC Precision series, and should offer Xeon Nehalem-based model, the same CPU used in the new Mac Pro.- The T3500 model will sport only one CPU, and support up to 24 GB of RAM. Starting price will be 999 USD. It is not clear if hte starting model will be powered by a Xeon, or by a Core i7.- The T5500 model will be powered by two Xeon and will support up to 72 GB of RAM. Starting price would be 1620 USD.- The high-end T7500 model, will also be sporting two Xeon, but one could be able to install up to 192 GB or RAM. Starting price in this case will be 1800 USD.
