Following our previous news related to the installation of a Green WD HD of 2 TB in a Time Capsule, we look at the best way to preserve TM backup while upgrading the HD. The easiest way is the following:
- Disassemble the Time Capsule and install the new HD inside
- Reboot time Capsule and format the new HD, then switch of the TC and uninstall the new HD
- Use a cloning software (Personal Backup or any other one) and clone the data/partition from the old disk to the new disk.
