As of January 2009, Sony Computer Entertainment claims to have sold 50 million PSP handhelds worldwide. A number that includes all PSP-1000, 2000, and 3000 series devices sold since December 2004. That's a big number, no matter how you slice it unless it's Nintendo wielding the perspective knife with its claim of 96.22 million DS handhelds sold between December 2004 and December 2008.
