Apple released EFI and SMC firmware updates for the late 2008 MacBook Pro, MacBook, and MacBook Air. The EFI update "fixes several issues to improve stability," and the SMC update "improves the sensing and accuracy of the MagSafe Power Adapter indicator light, and the battery charge indicator lights."
