According to the French website Electronlibre.info, the iTunes Store will launch from December 26th till January 6th a special campaign entitled iTunes 12 Days.
In a partnership with several news networks and retailers, Apple will offer during this period free music tracks and video to be downloaded.
This is most probably the best way to convince some users to download for the first time music and video from the iTunes Store. It remains unclear if this campaign will only be restricted to France, in order to better fight against local competitors, or if it will be extended to all EU or worldwide.
Last but not least, according to the last rumors and information, Apple might announce tomorrow that it will stop DRMs on music tracks and album for the entire iTunes Store catalog!
