NVidia has definitely hard time to get rid of the cursed GPU! According to a campaign launched by HP, up to 38 desktop models could be affected by defective GPU-based video issues. If the name of NVidia is not directly quoted, all hardware have in common a GeForce GPU.
The quoted GPU have never been used by Apple, as they are dedicated to entry-level PC models. With such problems to deal with, NVidia is probably accepting all compromises asked by Apple in order to get GeForce mobility GPU into the new MacBook Pro, in order to refresh its business image. We would not be surprised that Apple gets a large discount on NVidia GPU, contributing to lower the price of the future MacBook/MacBook Pro.
