AOL has released the first public beta of it's new AIM for Mac client. This will be the first updated to the Macintosh client since February 2004, meaning it is due for some significant changes. In this new version users will have access to AIM Expressions, allowing them to customize their AIM sounds, wallpaper, emoticon set or Buddy Icon.
