Sprint's Xohm WiMAX network will have its formal debut on October 8th, according to an invitation sent to the media. Company executives along with those from WiMAX developer Intel will host an event that day in Baltimore's Bond Street Wharf Park to unveil the service, which is planned as one of the first truly national 4G wireless Internet services for the US.
