Microsoft's bizarre campaign to turn $300,000,000 into a marketing message keeps taking stranger turns. What began as an attempt to associate Microsoft with a smart and comic social relevance turned mean and condescending before being canceled and replaced by a more defensive series of ads that actually draw attention to Apple by referencing its Get a Mac campaign.
