SmileOnMyMac has released the next major upgrade to its PDF editing tool for Mac OS X. PDFpen 4.0 features user interface refinements, such as a new document sidebar for viewing thumbnails, an updated Properties window, and greater toolbar controls. Basic OCR (Optical Character Recognition) has also been added, which allows users to change scanned text documents from picture files into text files
