LaCie has announced the latest addition to its line of storage devices featuring Neil Poulton design, the 4big Quadra 4-bay RAID system. The array can be configured to write data in seven different RAID modes, including RAID 0 for faster speeds or RAID 5 for protection, with each drive hot-swappable if needed. Four Quadra units can be stacked or chained to quadruple the potential storage capacity
