ATTO has unveiled the Celerity FC-84EN, a quad channel 8-Gb fibre channel PCIe 2.0 host adapter. The Celerity boasts FC speeds up to 1600MB per second per channel. Combining the capabilities of a x8 PCI Express 2.0 bus with four fibre channel connections allows for a combined speed of 6400MB per second (aggregate 3200 read or write).
