iPhone 3G sold out in 21 states

The iPhone 3G is now in extremely short supply in the US, according to official Apple tracking widgets. As of 6AM Eastern time on Tuesday, the 8 and 16GB models are listed as as unavailable in the Apple Stores of 21 American states: Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska
