3G iPhone enters manufacturing - ships soon?

Apple has instructed its manufacturers to produce ten million new model iPhones, equipped with 3G support, a report claims. Interviewed by iPod Observer, Gartner analyst Ken Dulaney makes the claims, citing "sources in Asia".
