In France, iPhone's arrival launched the war in the price of data packages previously almost non-existent and now cheaper by the month. In the United States, the war is now focussing on telephony tariffs, a sensitive issue because unlike us, it is the receiving party who pays for incoming calls. Within a few days, 3 operators out of 4 (Verizon, T-Mobile and AT & T) have announced plans with totally unlimited voice and without constraints.
