Apple has today announced the "Self Service Repair" program, allowing users to complete their own repairs.
The scheme is set to give customers who are comfortable with completing their own repairs access to Apple genuine parts and tools, starting with the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 lineups. Apple Silicon Macs will soon join the scheme.
Self Service Repair will be available early next year in the U.S. and expand to additional countries throughout 2022.
