My point was that Sandy was a big deal and the media reported the bad news without trying to put a favorable spin on it. They have done the same with this story. It is not their job to give facts and “alternate facts” equal coverage. When a politician screws up, the unfavorable stories are his fault, not the media’s.
When the vast majority of epidemiologists are saying one thing, about an epidemic and a business major and his supporters are saying something different, the media have no obligation to give them equally favorable coverage.
