Actually, not having an effective replacement for an obviously flawed system is not "basically saying you are willing to accept the consequences of doing nothing, no matter how horrific they might be," drama queen.
I can tell you that a concrete sarcophagus over Chernobyl and a 1,000 sq. mile exclusion zone is a suboptimal response to a disaster. Not having a proposal to put in place of that does not make me "willing to accept the consequences of doing nothing, no matter how horrific they might be."
