So I presume you could rearrange your system with a couple of SAS controllers in there and then you just have a an SSD boot drive b one or more Raid 0 SAS configs for your scratchpad and work spaces c several SATA disks in JBOD mode as you do now which can hang off any of the motherboard ports without any problems as your no longer using motherboard raid any more.
