It is hard as well, slippery, causing strain. I ordered from ebay a pack of Lenovo rubber tips and with a slight modification made it partially fit. It does not stay there forever, because the connector size is slightly different, and I had to cut 1mm from the HP G70-111EM Notebook Intel PROWLAN with a sharp knife.
