Apple design chief Jony Ive to depart later this year, create new studio with Apple as client

After more than two decades at Apple, with his fingerprints on iconic products from iMac to iPod to iPhone, chief design officer Jony Ive plans to depart the company later this year to start a new creative firm called LoveFrom.
