U.S. temporarily eases Huawei prohibitions to buy time for telcos

In a bid to ease an expected transition away from Huawei hardware, the U.S. government on Monday eased restrictions imposed on Chinese telecommunications giant, allowing the purchase of certain goods to maintain existing infrastructure.
