Deezer the well known free music streaming website announced to have signed an agreement with Sony BMG. It concerns 165,000 tracks which will soon be available for free listening on Deezer.com.
However, Vivendi universal does not want to stop its legal action against Deezer.com, as its has already teamed up with a French ISP for a similar streaming offer (but not entirely free and limited to ISP customers). As a reminder, Deezer.com signed up with the French Artist's right protection administration SACEM. So the current legal action illustrates the fight for online digital music dominance between, artists, Music Majors, distributors and administrations, letting customers often on the side.
