It burns single and double layer BD-R media at 4x, DVD at 16x and CD at 40x, making it among the fastest device for most optical disc formats. Its price should not be considered as a premium due to its high level performance: US$ 600.
This dive will be available only with the SATA interface, so only Mac Pro with the additional optical drive-dedicated free SATA port can get it in.
