Apple Silicon: Mit diesen Macs und Macbooks können wir im nächsten Jahr rechnen
Apple hat seine ersten Mac-Rechner mit eigenem „Apple Silicon“-Chip auf den Markt gebracht. Die bisherigen Modelle mit M1-Prozessor bedienen jedoch Apples Einstiegssegment. Im nächsten Jahr geht’s dann erst richtig los – mit diesen Macs und Macbooks können wir rechnen.
Mit dem Mac Mini, dem Macbook Pro (Test) und dem Macbook Air hat Apple am 10. November den Start für seine zwei Jahre dauernde Transition weg von Intel zu den eigenen ARM-Prozessoren begonnen. Während die M1-Chips schon ausgezeichnete Werte in Sachen Leistung und Laufzeit liefern, reichen sie nicht aus, um die leistungsfähigeren Macs und Macbooks anzutreiben.
