HTC Thunderbolt vs. Verizon iPhone sales tales based on anecdotal evidence

A fully protective iPad 2 case that emulates the Apple Smart Cover
Like most people, I thought the iPad Smart Cover was pretty cool, but it bothered me for two reasons. First, I think it's too expensive, especially in leather, and second, it didn't really protect the iPad, just the screen.
I knew it was a matter of time before there were options, and this week I was sent a Yoobao Products Executive Leather case from US distributor XenGadget. The case sells for US$34.95, which is a reasonable price given how the case works.

Viel gemeinsam mit seinem analogen Namenspaten hat er aber anscheinend nicht: die Synthese soll virtuell-analog sein und irgendwie auch samplebasiert und heisst Supernatural Synthesis. AMD Radeon HD 6790: Günstiger Stromfresser?
Nachdem bereits gestern der vermeintliche Starttermin durchgesickert ist, war es natürlich nur eine Frage der Zeit, bis die kompletten Spezifikationen folgen. Okay, so a couple of weeks back, we wouldn't have cared if Best Buy was willing to give us money to carry the Xperia X10, we still would have steered clear of its flawed UI and outdated software. All we knew of the Nexus S 4G's arrival so far was that it was coming in "spring," but that has now been upgraded to "soon" courtesy of Best Buy. The retailer has listed the Sprint-friendy, WiMAX-equipped Android device for a $200 pre-order, and while it refuses to list a specific delivery date, asking for a shipping estimate provides the deliciously narrow date range of April 4th to 5th for those selecting express shipping. Apple has released its first iPad 2 television commercial. Titled "We Believe," the ad has sentimental narration reminiscent of Apple's old Think Different ads. ASUS praktisches Eee Pad Transformer-Tablet mit Honeycomb gewinnt immer mehr Freunde woran auch dieses Walkthrough-Video von Slashgear nichts ändern dürfte. Apple patent hints iWeb may come to iPad
It may have been some time since iWeb, Appleís simple WYSIWYG web page design tool, has received new features. However, it appears that Apple has at the very least considered bringing it across to the iPad. A new patent application has emerged that shows a version of iWeb for the iPad. It would join GarageBand, Keynote, Numbers, Pages and iMovie as productivity and creativity apps ported from its Mac OS X platform over to its burgeoning iOS platform.

In dem TV Spot widmet sich der iPad-Hersteller einmal mehr seinem Tablet-Computer in zweiter Generation. Apple posts first iPad 2 TV ad: 'We Believe'
Apple on Saturday night posted the first-ever TV ad for the iPad 2 (below). The 30-second spot deliberately avoids the push on specs by its rivals and argues that "technology is not enough." It's through the natural interfaces of iBooks, GarageBand, and photos that technology "gets out of the way" and creates something special, Apple said.

Nächster iPod nano wieder mit Kamera?
Nachdem der iPod nano der fünften Generation gerade erst Video-Aufnahme, ein Widescreen-Display und Video-Anzeige bekommen hatte, wurden alle diese Features ein Jahr später in der sechsten Generation wieder weggelassen, um das Gerät klein zu halten, ein Multi-Touch-Display, eine iOS-ähnliche Oberfläche und einen Clip verbauen zu können.
Laut Apple.pro wird in der nächsten Generation, die in einigen Monaten vorgestellt wird, wieder eine Kamera enthalten sein, die Größe und Form des Geräts allerdings soll erhalten bleiben. Der Clip wird dann allerdings kleiner werden oder ganz weichen müssen.

Sehr praktisch, da man ein virtuelles Tagebuch nicht wirklich verstecken muss. :-) Einträge können einfach hinzugefügt, geschrieben und editiert werden. Although eBay figures don't exactly correlate with Apple's sales numbers, it's interesting to note who's buying what, and where. Last year, for example, in the first two weeks after the Apple iPad hit shelves, 65 percent of all iPads sold on eBay went abroad. Rumor: Seventh-generation iPod nano to add rear-facing camera
Apple.pro has posted an image which it claims is the rear casing for the next iPod nano. The purported casing shows a hole which would house a rear facing camera. Apple.pro has a history with iPod nano rumors, as they were the first to post an image of a small touchscreen which later made its way into the sixth-generation iPod nano that debuted last fall.

Cablevision releases iPad app for cable subscribers
Not to be outdone by Time Warner, Cablevision has released Optimum for iPad, which allows its cable subscribers to use their iPad "as an additional TV in the home." In addition to watching live TV, the app also allows Cablevision subscribers to record from the iO TV Listings Channel Guide, manage iO DVRs, browse and view Free On Demand content, and view other On Demand content from iO Active Rentals.

Zune HD finally gets an e-mail application, still waiting on a future
The future of the Zune as a standalone media player is still a little in doubt, but its future of being able to send crucially important e-mails and, in return, get a boatload of spam is now fully assured. iPhone 5 to sport an 8MP Sony camera?
As reported by 9to5 Mac, last night Sony's CEO Sir Howard Stringer told Walt Mossberg that a Sony camera image sensor factory in Japan was damaged in the Sendai earthquake. As a result of that damage, Stringer said that getting those image sensors to Apple for the iPhone will be delayed. The interesting thing about this statement is, of course, that Sony doesn't supply any camera sensors to Apple for use in previous or existing iPhones.
Stringer's comments align with a report from The Street back in April 2010 that the iPhone 5 would sport an 8 megapixel camera from Sony. Sony currently makes
