Yesterday, Apple issued the first update to tvOS 9.0 with version 9.0.1, which -- in addition to the usual bug fixes and performance updates -- adds voice control of iTunes Match and verbal launching and control of most other Apple TV apps, including App Store searches, and alternative player Plex. Full Siri control of Apple Music is included in the beta of iOS 9.1, which will be reflected in a future tvOS update. In addition, Apple updated its Xcode development software to version 7.1.1.
