The utility employs hard drive and SSD analysis algorithms. The upgrade includes the new Phoenix Version 2.0, as well as Performance Probe and FSE. It also improves the graphical user interface of Scannerz making it easier for users to navigate more complicated Apple RAID and Core Storage drive configurations.
