Apple's senior vice president of design Jonathan Ive and industrial designer Mark Newson have collaborated on more than 40 objects, such as the one-of-a-kind Lecia Rangefinder camera and the solid gold Apple EarPods, that will be auctioned at Sotheby’s in New York later this year to benefit Product (RED), Bono's charity that has a long running partnership with Apple. The duo interviewed with Vanity Fair to talk about the collaborative design process and the exceptional amount of work that went into many of the products that will be up for auction.
