A China Labor Watch report on labor and safety violations at Pegatron may have also inadvertently confirmed the existence of the low-cost iPhone, possibly known as the iPhone 5C. In the introduction to the report, one quote says that Pegatron's products include the iPhone 4, 4S, and 5, as well as "low-priced plastic iPhones." In one section of a daily chronicle, the report states that "Todayís work is to paste protective film on the iPhoneís plastic back cover to prevent it from being scratched on assembly lines."
