Boston University sues Apple over patent infringement

The Boston Herald is reporting that Boston University is suing Apple for patent infringement regarding a "thin film semiconductor device" found in products ranging from the iPhone to the iPad and the MacBook Air. The patent in question is titled "Highly Insulating Monocrystalline Gallium Nitride thin Films".
