Apple is now offering the option to have an iPhone 5 display replaced at an Apple Store for $149, says MacRumors. The service costs the same with or without AppleCare+. It may be most important for people without the plan, though, who otherwise have to pay $229 to have a non-defective iPhone replaced. With AppleCare+ active, a replacement is $49.
