Mactaris' webcam settings software adds an option to write settings back to the webcam at specified intervals (to work around applications that reset webcams), an option to read Exposure Time, White Balance Temperature, and Focus values at specified intervals, and customization code to handle non-standard quirks of the Microsoft LifeCam HD-6000 and HD-5001 and the Logitech QuickCam Pro for Notebooks, Webcam C905, and QuickCam E 1100.
