Mozilla has released a new beta of Firefox, its multiplatform web browser. The code makes several significant changes, most notably adding Retina display support for the MacBook Pro. It also, however, implements the IonMonkey JavaScript JIT compiler, which is said to speed up JavaScript-heavy webpages, such as web apps.
