An expanded list of part numbers indicates that Apple is indeed preparing to update virtually all of its Macs, according to a source for AppleInsider. In all there are 27 new parts, of which 14 are believed to be Macs; all of the parts are said to be in Apple's reseller system. Currently Apple is selling 20 different stock Mac configurations, which implies that it will not update all of them, and/or that it might axe some options.
