Comparing iPad and Android tablet apps

PC Magazine editor Sascha Segan took a closer look at Android tablet apps and compared them to their iOS counterparts. He looked at the top apps for each platform and concludes that Android tablets have most of the big name apps found on iOS, but the quality of the Android version isn't as good as the iOS version. He says many of these top Android apps are ugly and have a design suitable for a narrow screen, not the large real estate of a tablet. Games, however, were an exception. Segan concludes that Android games aren't that bad, there's just fewer of them.
