Fujifilm confirmed yet another leaked wire release on Monday with the advent of the X-Pro1. The camera is Fujifilm's first with an internally developed lens mount system and mates it with a new 16-megapixel, APS-C (DSLR-sized) CMOS sensor using what the company bills as X-Trans. Fujifilm claims superiority not just to other mirrorless systems but even to DSLRs, arguing that its pixel placement doesn't require the usual optical low-pass filter to clean the shot, eliminate moiré, and potentially shoot photos that appear sharper than from a full-frame DSLR.
