Japanese shoppers queue up for Apple Store lucky bags

Japanese shoppers lined up in front of Apple Stores on New Year's Day for a chance at a lucky bag, reports note. Lucky bags are New Year's tradition at Japanese retail; store visitors have to pay for them, but in exchange they get a mystery collection of products, typically at a discount. This year Apple is said to have charged 33,000 yen (about $428), and offered some lucrative items.
