An Australian Federal Court on Tuesday gave Samsung a mixed response to its attempt to ban the iPhone 4S. Sydney-based Justice Annabelle Bennett agreed to conduct a full hearing on a preliminary ban but wouldn't start the three-week session until March, half a year after the iPhone 4S went on sale. She made clear Apple was free to sell the smartphone until at least that point.
