MCE Technologies has announced that all internal and external models of its 12X Blu-ray recordable drives will now include playback software for the Mac. The Mac Blu-ray playback software allows users to play both commercial and non-commercial movies on any Mac running OS X 10.5.2 or later. A one year license that enables full Blu-ray playback capabilities is included with the purchase, while a lifetime license can be purchased at a discounted rate. The software requires an Intel 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo or faster processor, and minimum 4GB of RAM.
