Lytro introduces world's first lightfield camera

Ready for the world's first light field camera -- you know, the spiffy kind that can infinitely focus? After demoing the tech earlier this year, Lytro's ready to unveil the world's first shipping product, a little something it calls the Lytro camera. Brandished in anodized aluminum (the lens) and rubber focus ring, the f/2 toting camera has an 11-mega-ray lightfield to power all that infinite focus magic. It's instant on and wields only two physical buttons, one for shutter and the other for power. Also spiffy is the ability to change the focus on-camera, which can be accomplished on the camera's multi-touch glass display. Available in three colors, it'll come in two models: an 8GB $399 model for which can hold 350 pictures, followed by a 16GB $499 model that can hold 750. Both ship in early 2012 w
