Once Magazine, which has modelled itself as a kind of Life Magazine for the iPad set, has released a new version of its iPad app (free) that now offers additional issues of the magazine at a cost of $3 per monthly issue or $2 per month with recurring billing (the premier issue is included with the free app). The magazine, which started up in August, emphasizes photojournalism featuring top photographers and writers offering visually-oriented stories, TechCrunch reports.
