Sterne Agee technology analyst Shaw Wu, relying in part on his own experience as a programmer prior to becoming an equity researcher, commented in a note to investors on the value of HTML5 and if Apple's promotion of the standard will pay off for the company. He has also reiterated his "Buy" rating on Apple and maintained a target price of $500 per share. Wu believes that despite Apple's push for HTML5, its adoption will not have much direct impact on AAPL stock.
