Excel Software has updated their software installer building program, ClickInstall, to version 3.0, bringing with it the option to create a desktop alias when an app is installed, generate an installer patch, build a number of installers simultaneously, apply a custom icon to the installer or add the ability to apply a password or serial number activation to the install process. The program can now also split up a large setup file into multiple files or CD/DVDs, with prompts to insert the next disc.
