A Beta OS offering full compatibility with OS X Lion has been released for LaCie's present range of professional NAS solutions. The beta software looks to resolve two Lion-specific conflicts that prevented users from managing, sharing, or backing up via the Apple File Protocol or Time Machine. The company notes that the software is still in the beta stages and therefore will not accept responsibility for any errors, loss, or corruption of data that installing this beta version of software may cause, either directly or indirectly.
